By Idude607
Dude...Where's your WiFi?!?
Imagine this: you're camping out waiting for the iPhone 5 to release. The line is long and you have another six hours till the doors open. You have with you an iPhone, iPad, and laptop. The latest episode of NCSI just aired, which is your favorite show by the way. Although the screen on the iPhone is big enough for just you. Unfortunately you won’t be able to share NCSI with your friends, the ones in line with you, also HUGE fans of the show. Now you have a problem....
Ask and you shall receive...
If only there is a way for you to turn your iPhone into a Wi-Fi Hotspot, so you and your friends can enjoy NCSI on the laptop together, but wait....THERE IS! It's called MyWi (yelp MiWi, not YOURWi...not yet at least ☺) this application will let you simultaneously connect your iPad and laptop using the 3G connection on your iPhone. Now the possibilities are endless, NCSI on laptop, while surfing the net on iPad! Your friends will love you, people in line will envy you. Life’s GOOD!
How do I get MyWi? you asked. Read on....
Third, simple
as 1 to 10....
- Jailbreak your iPhone
- Launch Cydia (think Appstore, for 3rd-party applications)
- Look up MyWi in Cydia
- Install MyWi
- Reboot
- Open MyWi, accept agreement and register
- Reboot (just incase, when in doubt REBOOT)
- Open MyWi
- Set it up
- Enjoy Your Wi-Fi Hotspot

Final Thoughts
Please note that
while MyWi will let you tether and create your personal Wi-Fi Hotspot, without
an extra tethering fee. However, with MyWi you to increase your data usage with
avenges! Make sure you have an unlimited data plan to avoid that massive bill from
your service provider. I find myself using MyWi everyday, either as a wifi
hotspot for my friends while at the park or tethered to my laptop on the bus
ride home. I hope you find this article informative, please leave any questions
you may have in the comments.
Sharing is caring and caring is sharing your Wi-Fi Hotspot, thanks for reading!
